GED Test Information:
As of January 2002, the GED (General Educational Development) Test has a new look and a new focus. The test is focused on work-related issues and content that adults face on a day-to-day basis. Five subjects are covered in the new 2002 GED Test: science, social studies, reading, math, and writing. Each test subject has a time limit.

When is the GED Test given?
The GED Test is scheduled approximately once a month. Individuals must register for the GED Test before the scheduled test dates. Registration and payment are required at the Watertown Area Career Learning Center before the test can be taken.

Where is the GED Test given?
The GED Test is taken at the Watertown Area Career Learning Center.

 GED Test Preparation and Tutoring:

The Watertown Area Career Learning Center offers free instruction, tutoring and use of preparation materials for the GED Test.  Anyone interested in the GED should call to find out when the next orientation is scheduled.  The orientation will give you a chance to learn about the GED Test, learn about GED tutoring, and get started with a study plan that will work for your individual needs.
